"Prepare Every Needful Thing"

For 2013, we chose the scripture in D&C 88:119 as our annual theme: "Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God; That your incomings may be in the name of the Lord; that your outgoings may be in the name of the Lord..."

What does it take to build such a house?! We're going to work hard to find out this year.

Rhapsody of the Seas Day 1

Jonny and Christi were invited to a Clark family reunion aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas Departing from Seatle. We distributed our kids to different houses late on Thursday. Jay and Josh went to Kevin and Lori's house. Nikki went to Eric and Jenn's house. Britton and Darren went to Bill and Laurel's house. Sole went to Christian and Emily's house.

Day 1: Phoenix to Seatle. We flew from Phoenix to Seatle early Friday morning and were aboard the ship by noon on Friday. We took the Seatle Light Rail from the airport to downtown Seatle. From there we caught a taxi to the pier. The cab driver did not disapoint with his fast driving and Indian accent.

We traveled with Dave and Lanell (Jonny's youngest brother and his wife) from Phoenix and met up with Lee and Sandy (Jonny's parents) Steve and Faith (Jonny's oldest brother and his fiance), Leesa and Patrick (Jonny's sister and her friend) and Will and Merrilee (Jonny's older brother and his friend).

Jonny was particularly excited to see Steve and Leesa, because they live so far away and don't get to see eachother very often.

Here are Jonny and Christi with all of Jonny's siblings (and significant others) From left to right: Christi, Jonny, Will, Merrilee, Patrick (back row), Dave, Lanell, Faith, Leesa (Back row) and Steve.

This picture was taken from one of the many lounging areas on the ship. This was taken at the end of a Classic Rock Name that Tune game.
