"Prepare Every Needful Thing"

For 2013, we chose the scripture in D&C 88:119 as our annual theme: "Organize yourselves; prepare every needful thing; and establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God; That your incomings may be in the name of the Lord; that your outgoings may be in the name of the Lord..."

What does it take to build such a house?! We're going to work hard to find out this year.

San Diego Trip










We had a busy week playing with relatives, traveling to the beach, and preparing for a Primary Activity Day.

Dale & Sara traveled to Yuma for Dale's birthday. He came just for one day then returned to Mesa for work. Sara traveled onto San Diego from our house with her kids and Erika Crandall to play at Legoland and the beach for a week. Emma Crandall, my kids and I traveled to meet them at the beach for one day. We had so much fun that I wondered why I don't travel to the beach and back in one day more often.
